1. Scotland and Ireland (the best links month of the year)

The hurricane caveat, stated plainly

The Atlantic hurricane season peaks statistically around September 10. That does not mean a storm will hit your week, and most September trips to the Southeast go ahead without incident. But it does mean Myrtle Beach, Kiawah Island, Florida and the Caribbean carry genuine disruption risk in a way that no other month except August does.

These are the peak months at all four, and the good tee times and the stay-and-play packages are gone long before the season arrives.
